Description

The Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore Riserva Avi di San Patrignano is born in vineyards located on the hills of Coriano, managed exclusively in a biodynamic regime.

It is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes. The vinification follows a careful respect for the grapes, to keep the peculiar qualities and typical characteristics of the vine as unaltered as possible. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique at controlled temperature for 24 months and for a further 12 months in the bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a large bouquet, with hints of ripe blackberries and aromas of violets, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of cloves. On the palate it is full-bodied and elegant, with a good flavor and pleasantly velvety tannins.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat and game ragout, it is ideal in combination with risotto and aged cheeses.
