Description
Romagna Sangiovese Superiore, Podere La Berta cru, which comes from the Solano vineyard from which it takes its name. The label shows a pomegranate branch, a noble fruit symbol of fertility and beauty, but also of personality and refinement.
Sangiovese in purity, ferments in steel then refines in steel and for a small part in barrique for 10 months. After assembly, the wine remains in bottle for 4-6 months.
Intense ruby red. Persuasive fragrances of small fruits of the undergrowth and cherry open the nose, then sensations of anise and licorice characteristic of Sangiovese di Romagna. In the mouth it has a full and savory sip, with soft tannins and an enveloping finish with a long lasting persistence.
Perfect in combination with structured first courses with meat sauce, roasted lamb and mixed grills.
