Description
The Trebbiano di Romagna Bro by Noelia Ricci is produced in San Cristoforo di Predappio, at about 200 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Romagna hinterland. The vineyards are situated on ochre clay soils rich in limestone and sulfurous minerals, with vines trained using the Guyot system. This wine is made exclusively from Trebbiano Romagnolo and Trebbiano di Spagna, authentically expressing the character of the territory.
The grapes are hand-picked in the first week of September, with a careful selection done in boxes. The fermentation is spontaneous in stainless steel with a small portion of skins macerating, to preserve freshness and aromatic complexity. The aging continues for 6 months in steel on fine lees and at least 4 months in bottle, giving structure and depth to the sip.
With a bright golden yellow color, the nose reveals intense aromas of fruit and yellow flowers, with pleasant citrus notes on the finish. The palate is savory and soft, with a long persistence and light bitter notes that refresh the palate, while the contact with the yeast provides greater fullness and harmony.
It pairs perfectly with fish appetizers, white fish pasta, grilled fish, steamed fish and shellfish, and stewed fish.
