Description

A wine that pays homage to Rome and its immense historical richness, a praise to your rich and fruitful lands: Roma Doc is the most recent of the Lazio appellations which includes one of the most important historical territories ever, with ancient winemaking traditions and the mineral strength of the land shaped by the Latium Volcano. It comes from an extreme selection of Montepulciano, Cesanese and Syrah, vineyards from various municipalities in the DOC Rome area. The grapes of origin are Montepulciano, Syrah and Cesanese. The soil of origin is of volcanic, pozzolanic and sandy origin, located in hilly areas exposed to the influence of sea winds.

Wine with bright, deep and intense colours, dark and mineral olfactory sensations, and the aromatic strength of the vines that make up the blend. It also includes a limited edition, refined for a long time in new barriques. The nose opens with a very intense bouquet of ripe red fruit, cherry in alcohol, Mediterranean scrub, red flowers, all sealed with pleasant balsamic notes. Soft sip, with fine, balanced, elegant and very pleasant tannins, and an almost endless persistence.

Perfect pairings are pasta dishes with game ragout, grilled red meats, medium-aged cheeses, and traditional Roman dishes based on tomato sauce, such as amatriciana.
