Description

Roma Doc Limited Edition is a tribute to a territory, that of Rome, on which the sun never sets. The well-known Lazio cellar for the evocative wine seems to have been inspired by this principle: Roma Doc is the most recent Lazio denomination and includes one of the most important territories by far for the mineral strength of the earth shaped by the Lazio volcano. It comes from a soil of volcanic, pozzolanic and sandy soils, located in hilly areas that benefit from the influence of sea winds. The grapes of origin are Montepulciano, Syrah and Cesanese.

Wine with a dark and bright ruby red color, of great consistency. The nose opens very intense and complex with hints of ripe red fruit, cherry in alcohol, spiced mace, cardamom, cinchona and black pepper, and still Mediterranean scrub, red flowers, all embellished with pleasant balsamic notes. Soft and structured sip, with fine, balanced, elegant and very pleasant tannins, fruity and spicy echoes and an almost endless persistence.

It goes well with pasta dishes with game ragù, grilled red meats, furred and feathered game, medium-aged cheeses, and traditional Roman dishes.
