Description
The Roma Bianco DOC of the Federici company results from the processing of Malvasia Puntinata, a native grape of Lazio and widespread throughout the Castelli Romani area. The production benefits from the proximity to a volcanic soil that reaches the Municipality of Zagarolo on the south-west side of Rome.
Following an organic regime, the company processes the grapes at low temperatures to keep aromas and fragrances intact. The minerality for an expressive and characterful wine is obtained with fermentation and aging in steel at a controlled temperature.
A wine with an intense and bright yellow color, it presents on the nose with peach jam with apricot, orange peel, acacia and aromatic herbs. Medium-bodied, it remains enveloping in the mouth and persistent with a balanced interweaving of fruit and flower notes.
Particularly suitable with fish and shellfish, it can also accompany fresh and semi-mature cheeses.
