Description
The Roero Riserva Trinità is a Nebbiolo obtained from the selection of a single vineyard from the Malvira winery. The area is that of Roero, in Piedmont, and the plot from which the grapes are harvested bears the name of Trinità.
From the clay and limestone soil the Nebbiolo grapes are born which, harvested in October, are vinified in steel and aged in wooden barrels for 24 months. A 12-month maturation in the bottle follows before being marketed.
Ruby red with garnet reflections in the glass. The bouquet ranges from blackberry to plum, from spices to dried roses. In the mouth it shows a consistent and enveloping body, perfect for balancing the evident tannic texture. The excellent freshness and flavour finish the sip and lengthen the fruity persistence.
To be combined with a wild boar stew.
