Description
The name Audinaggio instead derives from the Piedmontese Autinagia which means small plot of land and in this case refers to the small Valmaggiore vineyard, which is a sub-appellation of the Roero Rosso, where this splendid Nebbiolo originates.
This wine ages in new and used French oak barriques of the new Ca 'Rossa winery, and makes a further stop in the bottle before reaching the consumer.
The Roero DOCG Valmaggiore Audinaggio stands out for its perfect balance between the soft and warm notes of jam and spices and a lively nose. A red with good structure, with soft tannins and a long and persistent finish.
Perfect with roasts, this red is ideal with all traditional Piedmontese dishes, from fondue to tagliolini with truffles.
