Description
The Roero di Correggia comes from the sandy hills of the Roero, from vineyards located in the municipality of Canale d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo.
It is obtained exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, whose harvest is manual and takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in steel, with maceration on the skins for 6-8 days. Afterwards the wine ages for 10 months in wood, before being bottled.
This Roero di Correggia is characterized by a ruby red color tending towards garnet. It has evident notes of ripe red fruit, aromatic herbs and spices on the nose. On the palate it proves a wine of great finesse and elegance.
Excellent in combination with beef and chicken, it is particularly suitable with cold cuts and aged cheeses.
