Description
Vietti's Moscato d'Asti was born in vineyards located in Castiglione Tinella. The Vietti winery is located on the top of the municipality of Castiglione Falletto and was founded at the end of the 19th century by Carlo Vietti.
The 100% white Moscato grapes are harvested between the end of August and the beginning of September, and are then softly pressed. The must is naturally decanted and fermented in steel at 12-14°C. Upon reaching approx. 5.5% vol. fermentation is stopped by rapid cooling. The wine is then filtered and bottled.
It is a straw-yellow wine with golden reflections, which reveals a bouquet of ripe yellow fruit such as peaches and apricots, floral notes of rose and a note of ginger. The sip is sweet and delicate, with good balance and complexity.
Excellent as an accompaniment to fresh fruit tarts, creamy desserts with fruit, dry pastries, even with a hazelnut base.
