Description
Arneis has a curious origin as the term "arneis" in Piedmontese dialect means "mischievous" or "reckless", and Ca 'Rossa has found in this white berried grape the ideal base for young and lively white wines, like Merica.
The ageing takes place only in steel and a very short rest in the bottle allow to maintain all the freshness of the aromas of this Piedmontese vine.
The straw yellow colour anticipates a floral and fruity scent, with notes of white flowers and fresh fruit such as peach, melon and papaya. On the palate the Merica Roero Arneis reveals the marked sapidity typical of the grape, with a pleasant and unexpected minerality.
This Piedmontese white is excellent not only as an aperitif, but also in combination with fish appetizers, cereal soups, seafood first courses and with the inevitable Piedmontese tomini.
