Description
Guasti's Roero Arneis is a white wine coming from vineyards located in the municipalities of Canale, Cornegliano, Santo Stefano Roero, Vezza d'Alba and other neighboring areas in the province of Cuneo, in the heart of Piedmont. The terroir of these areas is characterized by clayey soils, ideal for the cultivation of Arneis.
The winemaking process follows traditional methods, with soft pressing of the bunches and fermentation with short maceration in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in steel for 6 months before being released on the market.
It has a straw yellow color enriched with greenish reflections. On the nose, the aroma is intense and fragrant, with dominant notes of apple and pear. In the mouth, the wine is full and elegant, with a pleasant bitter aftertaste that makes it distinctive.
This wine is particularly suitable for accompanying appetizers, aperitifs, shellfish and freshwater fish dishes.
