Description
The Mille red wine from the I Cacciagalli winery was born in the Upper Caserta area. The surrounding area is dominated by the inactive Roccamonfina volcano, whose activity has contributed to the composition of the land.
The wine is made up of Piedirosso and Aglianico grapes, which are vinified with spontaneous fermentation and maceration on the skins in cement tanks. In the same containers the wine ages on the fine lees for a few months.
Deep ruby red in colour, the nose has aromas of black fruits and spicy notes. On the palate it shows a good structure and smoothness, as well as a good persistence.
Excellent with pasta with meat sauce, risottos and stewed and grilled red meats.
