Rioja DOCa Viura 2022 Sonsierra

This white wine is produced in the region of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, La Rioja. It is made from 100% Viura grapes.

The winemaking process involves aging for 3 months in barrique. The grapes come from vines with an average age of over 40 years, located in the county of Sonsierra, in the heart of the Rioja Alta region. This production method helps to create an elegant and complex wine, capable of best expressing the characteristics of the Viura variety.

The wine has an attractive straw yellow color. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of great elegance and complexity, with fruity hints of pear and pineapple, white flowers and citrus fruits, harmonized with hints of toasted bread, hazelnut, coconut and vanilla on an appetizing pastry background. On the palate, it is silky, with the right amount of acidity and a persistent finish.

The wine is ideal to pair with baked fish dishes or fresh cheeses.
