Rioja DOCa Blanco Reserva Monopole Clásico 2020 CVNE

Monopole Clásico Reserva is a white wine produced in the Rioja region, using Viura grapes from vineyards owned by the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España and trusted local suppliers. The vines are grown on sandy, draining soils which favor a low yield of small, concentrated bunches.

The grapes are harvested manually in boxes and refrigerated to preserve the aromas. Fermentation takes place in used oak barrels of 400 and 500 litres. The wine is aged for five years in Riojan and Sanlúcar oak barrels, without clarification, allowing the long barrel aging to naturally stabilize and clean the wine.

The wine has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose it offers a complex bouquet with notes of white fruit, flowers, and a light hint of vanilla from barrel aging. On the palate it is balanced and round, with good acidity that gives freshness and a long persistence.

This wine is ideal to pair with fish, seafood and fresh cheeses.
