Description
Leza García Reserva is a red wine from Rioja, which expresses freshness and elegance with the personality of the Leza terroir. The grapes come from proprietary vineyards located in Rioja Alta, at an altitude of 500-700 meters.
The harvest takes place in the second fortnight of October. The wine is mainly produced from selected Tempranillo grapes. After meticulous processing, it matures in American and French oak barrels for a minimum of 24 months, followed by a further 12 months of refinement in the bottle before being marketed.
The wine has an intense cherry red color with garnet reflections. The nose is complex, rich and elegant, with intense aromas of ripe fruit and spices. On the palate it shows excellent structure and complexity, with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant long and persistent fruit aftertaste.
This wine is ideal for accompanying roasted and stewed meats. It also pairs well with baked or sauced fish, as well as cured meats and strong, mature cheeses.
