Description
Monopole Blanco is a white wine produced in the Rioja region, using Viura grapes from vineyards owned by Compañia Vinicola del Norte de España and local suppliers. The vines are grown as saplings on fresh clayey-loamy soils, and all viticultural operations, including the harvest, are carried out manually.
The wine is made from 100% Viura grapes. After arriving in the cellar, the grapes undergo cold maceration with the skins for 8 hours at a controlled temperature of 10-12℃. A delicate pressing favors the release of the free-run must, which then ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, to facilitate the extraction and preservation of the main fruity and floral aromas, typical of the variety.
The wine has a pale yellow color. On the nose it offers a pleasant and intense spring aroma, with notes of white currant, apple, pear, pineapple and banana. On the palate it has a soft entry and a long center of the mouth, with a touch of final acidity that gives freshness, followed by a fruity and floral aftertaste.
This wine is the perfect companion for appetizers, aperitifs, fish and seafood.
