Description
Rioja La Vendimia by Remondo Palacios is produced in the Rioja region as a blend of Tempranillo and Grenache grapes.
With grapes from the Alfaro area in Rioja Baja, this red wine is produced using a carbonic maceration process to combine the full freshness of young wine with additional softness obtained with subsequent aging in wooden barrels.
Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, it combines floral and fruity hints of rose, violet and cranberry to the nose, releasing the enveloping fullness of cocoa and a sweet spiciness on the palate. The touch is soft, discreet and combines the fleshy notes of Grenache grapes with the minerality of Tempranillo for a satisfying, medium-length finish.
It is the ideal wine for red meats cooked on the barbecue, it can also be served with appetizers based on assorted cold cuts and liver croutons.
