Rioja DOCa La Montesa 2019 Palacios Remondo

La Montesa wine by Remondo Palacios comes from 100 hectares of vineyards located in Rioja and is a blend produced with Carignano, Grenache, Tempranillo grapes.

With vineyards located near Mount Yerga, the grapes grow on limestone and clay benefiting largely from the altitude. After harvesting and fermentation, the wine ages 12 months in new and already used French and American barrels.

Purple-red in color, it has an aromatic range articulated with red fruits, strawberry and plum, orange peel and a light toasting. Minerality and softness perfectly integrated on the palate, with juicy cherries finished with pepper, Mediterranean herbs and enveloping notes of cocoa. Persistent in the finish and ample.

Perfect to accompany savory first courses such as meat sauce, grilled pork or lamb stews.
