Description

Artuke by Bodegas Artuke is a red wine produced with Viura and Tempranillo grapes from the small village of Ábalos in Rioja.

With soils located at an altitude between 420 and 480 meters above sea level and clayey-calcareous in nature, the grapes ripen accompanied by a continental climate typical of the area. After harvesting, the wine partially undergoes a carbonic maceration, the process that involves an intracellular fermentation useful to enhance the fruity scents of Tempranillo.

The result is a bright ruby red wine, with bright hints of strawberry, raspberry and ripe cherry. The intensity of the red fruits remains on the palate accompanied by a good refreshing acidity, delicate tannins and a very pleasant and intense finish.

Wine suitable for seasonal grilled vegetables, delicate first courses and platters of cheeses and cured meats. Also try it with bresaola rolls and fresh cheese.
