Description
Cune Blanco Reserva is a white wine produced in the Rioja region, using mainly Viura grapes. The grapes come from proprietary vineyards located in Rioja Alta, grown on clay-limestone soils.
The grapes are harvested manually and undergo cold maceration for 8 hours at a controlled temperature of 10-12℃. A delicate pressing favors the release of the free-run must, which then ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The refinement takes place in oak barrels for 24 months, followed by further refinement in the bottle for at least 12 months.
The wine has a straw yellow color. On the nose it offers complex aromas of white fruit, such as apple and pear, along with floral notes and a light hint of vanilla from barrel aging. On the palate it is balanced and soft, with good acidity that gives freshness and a long persistence.
This wine is ideal to pair with fish, seafood and fresh cheeses.
