Description
Rioja Tempranillo Crianza by Marqués de Cáceres is born in vineyards located in Rioja Alta and partly in Rioja Alavesa, Spain.
It is mainly produced with Tempranillo grapes and with Garnacha and Graciano grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand, parcel by parcel. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 °C, with maceration in contact with the skins for 20 days. After completing the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by a further refinement of 12 months in the bottle.
This Rioja has an intense ruby red colour. The nose opens with elegant hints of morello cherry, cherry and raspberry, enriched with notes of thyme and vanilla. On the palate it is full-bodied and soft, with ripe tannins that accompany towards a pleasantly fruity finish.
Perfect to accompany traditional dishes and typical Spanish cured meats, this red wine is ideal in combination with roasts, grilled meat, game and aged cheeses.
