Description
Malleolus by Emilio Moro is a Tempranillo from the Ribera del Duero area which takes its name from the word used in Pesquera del Duero to indicate the vineyards.
Produced with Tempranillo grapes, the wine comes from an 18-day maceration in contact with the skins for greater richness of fruit and color. The malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers and the refinement in French oak barrels until bottling.
Intense ruby red color, it has aromas of great intensity and maturity, the ability to fully express the complexity of the wine. With hints of red fruits, cedar and dried figs, it presents on the palate an excellent balance between the body and the acid component, both perfected by the stop in wood for a satisfying freshness. On the palate it shows structure and power, gentle tannins and a long persistence.
It goes well with grilled meats, roast pork and game. Also excellent with spicy cold cuts and meat sauce first courses.
