Description

Pago de Carraovejas is a red wine that comes from the blend of Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes come from vineyards selected and cultivated with care to best express the characteristics of the terroir.

The harvest was carried out manually. The grapes were carefully selected and subjected to delicate pressing. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. The wine is aged for a prolonged period on fine lees to increase complexity and structure.

The wine has an intense ruby red color. On the nose it offers complex aromas of berries, sweet spices and a light note of vanilla. On the palate it is rich and well structured, with soft tannins and a long and persistent finish.

This wine pairs perfectly with red meats, roasts and mature cheeses.
