Description
The Spanish red wine Milsetentayseis comes from an extraordinary landscape of Fuentenebro, in the Ribera del Duero, characterized by mineral richness, extreme climate and exceptional biodiversity. This elegant, delicate and vibrant wine reflects the complexity of a unique environment and the tension of a grape variety conceived for long aging.
The Milsetentayseis Tinto grapes are harvested by hand after a careful selection of the bunches in each parcel. Subsequently, a double selection is carried out in the cellar, both of the bunches and the berries. The winemaking process is carried out separately for each parcel, with the aim of maximizing the expression of each grape variety and soil. Different winemaking formats are used: 600 liter microvinifiers, small wooden vats, concrete and stainless steel tanks, icosahedrons and clay amphorae. The Tinto Milsetentayseis is aged for 18 months in French oak and concrete barrels and foudres and for twelve months in the bottle before marketing.
On the nose, Milsetentayseis Tinto offers an aromatic complexity that reflects its mineral origin, with notes of quartz, feldspar and mica. On the palate, it has an elegant and vibrant structure, with a delicate character and a long and persistent finish.
Excellent with grilled red meats.
