Description

Malleolus de Sanchomartín is a red wine produced in Ribera del Duero, Spain, by Bodegas Emilio Moro. Made from Tempranillo grapes from Pago de Sanchomartín, a vineyard planted in 1944 on calcareous soils, this wine expresses the powerful, elegant and persistent character of the region.

Alcoholic fermentation and maceration last 28 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation and refinement in French oak barriques.

The wine has an intense cherry red color, with aromas of ripe black and red fruit, complex tertiary notes and a pleasant acidity. On the palate it is balanced, long and very pleasant.

This red wine pairs perfectly with red meats, game dishes and mature cheeses.
