Description

El Anejón comes from the sloping western terraces of the Carraovejas Valley. It is produced with the three varieties planted on the estate: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

After careful monitoring during the ripening cycle and an initial selection in the vineyard, the grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes. The bunches pass through a cold room and a selection table where meticulous control is carried out. Fermentation takes place in small French oak vats to enhance the peculiarities of the terroir. The wine is transferred by gravity into new 600 liter extra-fine grain French oak barrels.

On the nose, El Anejón offers a floral scent intertwined with balsamic and mineral notes. On the palate it has a silky and elegant texture, with a delicate and intense character and a long and harmonious finish. The terraces of the plot contribute to its uniqueness, providing a distinctive minerality and exceptional aromatic richness.

Anejón pairs perfectly with grilled red meats.
