Description

The Dominio de Atauta of the Bodegas Dominio de Atauta is a red wine produced with Tempranillo grapes grown in the province of Soria in the Ribera del Duero area.

With vineyards located on very different soils but united by limestone rock and at an altitude of approx. 1000 meters above sea level, the grapes are harvested and fermented in a natural way before undergoing malolactic fermentation in vats. The wine aged 16 months in 40% new French oak barrels.

Very intense and deep ruby red color, it expresses powerful and concentrated hints of blackberries, spicy notes of rosemary, licorice and tobacco. Dense fruit also on the palate, it is a harmonious and balanced wine also on the tannic front, with a wide and structured sip and a touch of minerality on the long finish.

Roasted lamb and game welcome this wine to perfection, while it can also be used as a meditation wine and is suitable for long aging.
