Description

CLON98 is a red wine produced in the region of Castrillo de la Vega, Burgos, Castile and Leon. It is made from 100% Tinto Fino grapes.

The winemaking process involves aging for 6 months in French oak barriques. The grapes come from old vineyards, aged between 26 and 50 years, located at an average altitude of 800 metres. This production method helps to create a well-structured and harmonious wine, capable of best expressing the characteristics of the Tinto Fino (aka Tempranillo) variety.

The wine has a deep and inviting ruby color. On the nose, it shows all the potential of the variety, with aromas of black plum, blackberry and reminiscences of grass and cloves. On the palate, the entry is fresh and vibrant, with good structure, soft tannins and a medium, balanced finish.

CLON98 is ideal to pair with roast meat dishes or mature cheeses.
