Description
The Nanclares y Prieto O Bocoi Vello wine is a 100% Albariño produced in Salnés in the Rias Baixas region.
The Atlantic proximity guarantees this variety humid conditions that are expressed in strong mineral and acid components. A careful manual selection of the grapes allows the grapes to be transported to the cellar in 15 kg crates. As in ancient times, the pressing is carried out with the feet with a maceration of 48 hours. The fermentation is started without the addition of yeasts at a controlled temperature with weekly batonnage and subsequent aging on the lees for at least 7 months before bottling.
Straw yellow in color of medium intensity, it offers hints of grapefruit and lime to the nose, giving the palate freshness and minerality, through citrus, herbaceous and stony notes, embellished with light white flowers. Agile and salty, it refreshes with a balanced acidity of the fruit for a medium and pleasant persistence.
Ideal for snacks and aperitifs, it is the right wine for grilled salmon, avocado salads and pastas with Mediterranean toppings.
