Description

Dr. Fischer's Gewürztraminer was born in the German region Rheinhessen. The company was bought by the South Tyrolean winery Hofstätter in 2014.

It is produced with 100% Gewürztraminer grapes, harvested only by hand. After a light pressing of the bunches and a short maceration on the skins for a few hours, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

It has an intense and brilliant straw yellow colour. The nose opens with a pleasantly aromatic bouquet, with hints between spicy and smoky, enriched by notes of dried flowers and roses which tend to gradually become more concentrated. On the palate it is dry and ample, with great freshness.

The wine goes very well with seafood and white meats.
