Description
The Ramandolo from La Roncaia comes from vineyards located in the heart of the Ramandolo DOCG, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
It is produced entirely with Verduzzo Friulano grapes, harvested in mid-October and then dried for 8 weeks. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels for about 9 months. It is then left to refine in barriques for 12 months and for another 6 months in the bottle, until the desired balance is achieved.
Amber in color, it enchants with its intense and complex aroma that moves on notes of dried fruit and chestnut honey. On the palate it is full and balanced, with remarkable persistence.
Excellent for meditation, it is perfect when paired with aged and blue cheeses or foie gras.
