Description
The Ramandolo of the La Roncaia company comes from vineyards located in the heart of the Ramandolo DOCG.
It is produced entirely with Verduzzo Friulano grapes, harvested in mid-October followed by 8 weeks of drying. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels for about 9 months. Subsequently it remains to refine in barriques for 12 months and for another 6 months in bottle, until the desired balance is reached.
Amber in color, it enchants with its intense and complex aroma that moves on notes of dried fruit and chestnut honey. On the palate it is full and balanced, of remarkable persistence.
Excellent for meditation, it is perfect in combination with seasoned and blue cheeses, or foie gras.
