Description

High level for reds and high level for whites: this is the portfolio of the Domaine Louis Latour which, unfailingly, offers a white-berry expression of one of the most suitable Burgundian areas for Chardonnay, Puligny-Montrachet.

The Chardonnay grapes, present 100% in this wine, come from vineyards with an average age of about 30 years, planted on limestone soils capable of imparting great finesse to the grapes. Ferment and refine, for 8-10 months, in wooden barrels, also carrying out malolactic fermentation.

Its color stands on a straw hue, embellished with golden reflections. Traces of dried fruit, cut grass and yellow fleshed fruit connote the aromatic profile of the nose, which is also confirmed by the taste. Round and at the same time fresh, it has been able to perfectly integrate the influence of wood, resulting in a soft and full-bodied sip.

To be combined with poached egg on asparagus soup.
