Pierre Girardin's Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatièrs originates from one of the best premier crus of Puligny Montrachet. Its vineyards are planted on Bathonian limestone soils, with south-east exposure, on slopes that favor excellent drainage. These conditions give an unparalleled finesse to Chardonnay grapes.

With a deep respect for tradition and the unique qualities of the terroir, the winemaking process is carried out with meticulous care. A 12-month refinement in barrique gives this white wine greater roundness and complexity.

In the glass, the wine appears with a golden yellow hue that anticipates a refined bouquet of yellow pulp fruit punctuated by notes of almond paste. On the palate it expresses a soft but intense character, of great persistence.

It is perfect for accompanying white meats in sauce, sushi and grilled vegetables. Also try it with a veal fillet with morel sauce.
