Description

The Puisseguin Saint-Émilion of Château des Laurets comes from vineyards with an average age of 33 years, located in the prestigious Bordeaux wine region.

It is produced entirely with Merlot grapes, harvested and selected only by hand in October. Fermentation takes place between stainless steel tanks and oak barrels at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 16 months in new oak barrels and for a further 12 months in glass, before being released on the market.

This Puisseguin Saint-Émilion is characterized by an intense purple red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with elegant hints of blackberry and black cherry, enriched with pleasant vanilla notes. On the palate it is of great aromatic complexity, well structured, with thick tannins that accompany towards a fruity and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany first courses and second courses based on red meat, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
