Description
The Puisseguin Saint-Émilion by Château des Laurets comes from vines with an average age of 33 years, located in the prestigious wine-growing region of Bordeaux.
It is mainly produced with Merlot grapes and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand in the month of October. Fermentation takes place between stainless steel tanks and oak barrels at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 16 months in new oak barriques and for a further 12 months in glass, before being released on the market.
This Puisseguin Saint-Émilion is characterized by an intense purple-red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with elegant hints of blackberry and black cherry, enriched by pleasant vanilla notes. On the palate it is of great aromatic complexity, well structured, with dense tannins that accompany towards a fruity and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany first courses and second courses based on red meat, it is ideal in combination with game and mature cheeses.
