Description
Terre Forti's Rosato Radici d'Italia is a rosé wine from the hills and plains of the Puglia region of Italy. Made with a blend of mainly Negroamaro and some Primitivo, it is grown on calcareous and clayey soils at an altitude of between 0 and 300 meters.
The harvest is done manually between September and October. After harvesting, the grapes are left in contact with the skins for 3-6 hours, allowing the extraction of color. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 25 and 26°C. The wine is then aged in steel tanks for a period of 3-6 months before bottling, maintaining freshness and aromatic vivacity.
Of an intense pink color with bright reflections, it offers to the nose aromas of red fruit, in particular cherries and strawberries. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with a pleasant softness and a delicate taste.
It pairs naturally with seafood dishes, white meats, pasta and grilled vegetables.
