Description
The Puglia Primitivo produced by the Salsedine winery is a true homage to the Puglia region, a territory rich in traditions and passion for viticulture, capable of offering a unique sensorial journey through the most famous grape variety of the region.
The manual harvest of the grapes takes place in the first half of September, with the bunches being harvested when ideal ripening conditions are reached. The must ferments with maceration for approximately 48 hours on the skins at a controlled temperature of 25°C.
The color is an intense ruby red that immediately invites tasting. A large and complex bouquet emanates from the glass, composed of berries, coffee and black pepper. On the palate it is a full-bodied, balanced and soft wine, with silky tannins that accompany a pleasantly persistent finish.
It pairs beautifully with robust first courses, red meats and game. It also manages to enhance the spicy dishes typical of Asian cuisine.
