Description
The Puglia Petrarosa Special Cuvée of Albea is born in vineyards located in the Bari municipality of Alberobello, in the heart of the Murge.
It is made entirely with Primitivo grapes, harvested mechanically. It is obtained by removing 20% of must, during a red maceration, at low temperatures. After fermentation, the wine ages for a short time in the bottle before being placed on the market.
Albe's Petrarosa Special Cuvée has an intense cherry pink color, with delicate coral hues. The nose opens with a complex and intense bouquet of blackberry, black cherry, black currant and raspberry, enriched with exotic hints of coconut and a floral touch of rose and violet petals. In the mouth it is fresh and fragrant, with notes of strawberry and pomegranate, accompanied by hints of candied fruit and spicy hints.
Versatile in the combination, it is indicated with typical dishes of the Apulian cuisine, such as orecchiette with turnip greens, meat, salami, tasty fish soups and aged cheeses.
