Description
Memoro Primitivo is a red wine produced in the Puglia region, using the ancient Primitivo grape, known for its intimate connection with the sunny lands of southern Italy.
The refinement process of Memoro Primitivo lasts 6 months and takes place in large barrels for 60% and in tonneaux for 40%, giving the wine a particular aromatic complexity. The "light drying" winemaking method used for this wine enhances the flavors and aromas of the grapes.
This wine presents a vibrant ruby hue and aromas of red fruits accompanied by a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, it offers an explosion of ripe cherry and plum flavors, supported by subtle notes of vanilla. The finish is soft and medium-bodied, showing the influence of the drying process.
Memoro Primitivo pairs perfectly with lamb, pasta with meat sauce, stewed meat and Apulian pecorino, enhancing the intense flavors of these dishes.
