Description
Mario del Conte’s Primitivo Puglia is a red wine that expresses the warmth and richness of Puglia. Obtained from Primitivo grapes grown in the region with climatic conditions that enhance the fruity and structured character of this wine, making it a distinctive choice among southern Italian reds.
The winemaking process involves a 7-8 day maceration to extract color and structure, with subsequent alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-27°C. This method preserves the varietal characteristics of Primitivo, maintaining a balance between intensity and softness, with an aging that also takes place in steel to enhance the freshness and fullness of the wine.
It stands out for its deep red color with purple reflections and rich aromatic profile. It has an intense and fragrant bouquet, with a combination of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and light balsamic notes. On the palate it is pleasant and harmonious, with a velvety texture and a persistent finish that amplifies its complexity and pleasantness.
This red wine pairs beautifully with roast meats, mature cheeses and rich soups, enhancing the flavoursome and structured character of these dishes.
