Puglia IGT Primitivo 2021 Elettra

This Primitivo di Elettra is an intense and refined expression of one of the most representative grape varieties of the region. It arises from the selection of high-quality grapes, which give the wine a enveloping structure and a rich and complex aromatic profile. The combination of the Apulian terroir and careful winemaking results in a wine with a strong character and unmistakable charm.

After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and crushed, followed by a pre-fermentation maceration that enhances the concentration of aromas and color. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with frequent pump-overs, while aging in new American oak barrels provides depth and softness to the sip, enhancing its elegance and persistence.

It presents a deep ruby red color with purple reflections. The bouquet is fruity and enveloping, with clear notes of blackberry and cherry, enriched by elegant hints of licorice and spices. On the palate, it is structured and persistent, with elegant tannins that accompany a long and harmonious finish, leaving a pleasant sensation of warmth.

It pairs perfectly with grilled red meat, game, and aged cheeses.
