Puglia IGT Nero di Troia Gelso Nero 2022 Podere 29

Gelso Nero is a red wine produced by the Podere29 company, obtained exclusively from Nero di Troia grapes grown in sandy loam soils.

The Mulberry Black winemaking process involves fermentation in steel, followed by a 6-month refinement in the same material. This production method allows the purity and freshness of the grapes to be preserved, keeping the typical aromas and flavors of the vine intact.

The Black Mulberry has an intense ruby color and violet reflections. On the nose it offers a complex and fascinating bouquet, with notes of red fruits, figs, black pepper and cloves. On the palate it is rich and enveloping, with a good structure and a persistent and harmonious finish.

This wine pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts and mature cheeses.
