Description
Rivera's Fiano Scariazzo sees its first vintage in 2010. The grapes come from vineyards located in the foothills of the Murgia in the province of Bari.
The grapes, harvested at the end of August, are vinified for 20% in new barriques, the remaining quantity in steel. After blending, the wine ages in cement tanks on its lees for 3 months, followed by 3-4 months in the bottle.
Intense straw yellow in color, it opens to the nose with a scent of white flowers and mineral notes. The sip is complex and rich, with a savory finish.
A pleasant and fresh wine that goes well with seafood cuisine.
