Description
Paolo Leo's Taccorosso red wine comes from vineyards located between Taranto and Brindisi.
The wine is a 100% Negroamaro, whose grapes are harvested by hand in the early hours of the morning. After the grapes are destemmed, they are pressed. The must obtained macerates on the skins for 12-15 days at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C.
In the glass the wine appears of an intense ruby red color with garnet hues. The nose is complex, where there are hints of berries, juniper and myrtle, with final notes of spices, licorice and coffee. The sip is warm and soft and reveals well-behaved tannins and a long persistence.
Ideal in combination with succulent dishes such as roasted scamerita, truffle risotto and grilled meats.
