Description
The Primitivo di Angiuli Donato is produced from 100% Primitivo grapes that are born in vineyards located in the municipality of Acquaviva delle sources, in the province of Bari.
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September. These are softly pressed and macerated with a submerged cap and fermentation at a controlled temperature, for a duration of 10 days. The wine is subsequently aged in steel.
Ruby red in color with violet reflections, the nose reveals hints of black cherry, blood orange and aromatic herbs. The sip is full and juicy, with a good structure.
Excellent in combination with first courses seasoned with savory meat sauces, including game, stewed red meats and aged cheeses.
