Description

The Primitivo Cinque Noci di Tagaro is a wine that comes from the heart of Salento, from 30-year-old vineyards grown on calcareous soils mixed with red soil.

An initial maceration at low temperature precedes a fermentation with selected yeasts conducted with long maceration on the skins. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine ages for 6 months in oak barrels, and then stays for a further 3 months in the bottle.

Intense ruby red in colour, it releases intense notes of plum jam and blackcurrant on the nose. On the palate it is rich and balanced, with the sweetness of ripe fruit that is perfectly intertwined with a rich tannic structure.

An ideal companion with first courses with meat sauce, it is perfect to pair with red meats in general. Recommended with a beef or veal stew.
