Description

The Province of Verona Oseleta di Zýmé was born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Illasi and Lavagno and Parona, in the provinces of Vicenza and Verona.

It is produced exclusively with Oseleta grapes, harvested and selected by hand between the first and second ten days of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 36 months and for another 12 months in the bottle, before being released on the market.

Zýmé's Oseleta has a purple-red color tending towards violet, developing garnet reflections with aging. The nose opens with a fragrant and intense bouquet of blueberry, currant and wild blackberry, which is enriched with notes of graphite and earth during aging. On the palate it is powerful and tannic, with good minerality that accompanies towards a persistent and balanced finish.

Excellent with fatty fish and mixed boiled meats, it is perfect to pair with grilled meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses.
