Description
The Soligo Prosecco DOC Treviso Rosé Brut comes from vineyards in the Treviso area and is produced with 90% Glera grapes and the remaining percentage of Pinot Noir.
Starting with the Pinot Noir harvest towards the end of August, at least two weeks earlier than that of Glera, we proceed with the maceration of the Pinot Noir and then start the assembly and fermentation in pressurized tank for at least 60 days.
It has a pale pink colour, with a nice perlage and capable of releasing red and tropical fruits on the nose with slight but recognizable hints of wild strawberries and violets. Fresh and satisfying sip, it is soft on the palate, with good persistence of red fruits and enjoyable elegance.
It supports very well unengaged aperitifs and is excellent in the company of seafood, white meats and semi-mature cheeses. Also suitable for ethnic cuisine.
